If you like your upbeat tracks with amazing bassline and serious energy, this is a fantastic album. If you want something less fast paced, clearly this isn't for you (have you seen the film?!) Love the tracks, especially given where they are in the film itself.
Check out Danza Kuduro and F5 on youtube, those songs are pretty much album only, and pure gold in my opinion. I guarantee the other tracks are solid though, not to mention the actual score!

After being disappointed by the soundtrack to the first film i haven't bought the others. But, after seeing the film, which was epic, I went and bought this one. It has to be said it fits perfectly with the film and its scenes. Maybe i'll go buy the others now.

Format:Audio CD
Despite being primarily produced by one of the greatest producers in modern hip-hop, The Neptunes, this soundtrack to the forth movie in the Fast & Furious series is far from impressive. Although it is very up-beat with some great basslines and riffs as you'd expect from the producers, the Spanish hip-hop on a majority of the tracks didn't really work for me. The opening track "Bang" from Rye Rye (who!?) featuring M.I.A. is pretty good and fast-flowing, as is Busta Rhymes' "G-Stro" but the rest of the album is not anything that I'd normally listen to at all. Maybe an instrumental version of the album may have scored higher for me but otherwise this is fairly poor. I've not seen the movie yet so I can't comment on how well it fits in with the scenes but as an album I can't really rate this that highly as it is well below the quality of the previous 3 movie's soundtracks.
