Antony knows that successful home cooking is all about balancing speed with great results. Antony's cooking is inspired by both the Mediterranean and Asia. Asian Spicy chicken wings and Sweet and sour pork sit alongside Smoked haddock and potato risotto and Red pepper gnocchi with chicken. There are lots of ideas for breakfasts, soups, salads, casseroles, pasta, pots, bakes, grills and roasts. Most of the dishes are healthy enough for an everyday feast, but Antony believes that families should treat themselves, so you'll find some special occasion dishes in here too. In fact, whatever your family fancies to eat there'll be something in here to suit.
About the Author
Antony Worrall Thompson is one of our best loved chefs and a father of two. He became a Saturday morning staple on our TV screens first with Saturday Kitchen on the BBC and then with Saturday Cooks on ITV1. He now presents ITV1's Daily Cooks. He is chef-proprietor of Notting Grill in Holland Park and has recently opened Barnes Grill. He has appeared regularly on Ready Steady Cook and was resident chef for BBC2's Food and Drink for many years. Antony has written numerous books, including Real Family Food (Mitchell Beazley).
