This is an excellent book which comprehensively covers all aspects of fashion photography both in and out of the studio. The photography and lighting setups are described well as are practical aspects of dealing with clients, models and art directors. The sections on equipment is a bit short and the post-production section only contains a few basics of Photoshop post production.

Some additional case studies would have been useful but on the whole this is an excellent book for anyone wanting to get into this type of photography.

This book is identical to Bruce Smiths "Pro Digital Fashion Photography: A Complete Reference Guide to the Tools and Techniques of Successful Digital Fashion Photography" ISBN-10: 1905814380

So don't buy both, just whichever one is cheaper!
