My eldest daughter has the full size version of this toy and I ordered this for my younger daughter. On receipt I discovered that this is a quarter of the size and is actually the 'travel' one which was not clearly stated....it's a good product but very small compared to the full size version!

Fun for my 7 and 5-year olds.
PROs: encourages creativity and use of fine motor skills (to maneuver templates and paper under plastic tabs on top of light box). Occupies kids, good size for travel.
CON: no storage for the templates. Included paper runs out quickly.
It is not very durable, but my girls are fairly careful with the items.

We bought this for our daughter's 6th birthday, since she insists she's going to be a fashion designer when she grows up, and loves to draw. She loves it! A few things could be improved though: A place to store the templates would be really nice. Also include more paper. My husband ended up taking one of each of the model papers and then scanning them so we can make more in the future. Finally you have to be a little careful with the black tab at the top, as it tends to pop off rather easily. All in all, it's a great gift for our little fashionista :)

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas b/c she loves to draw.. i was disappointed that the light box is not very bright & she has a hard time tracing, with the low light. I should of just bought a traditional light box... I loved the idea of her being able to draw on so many different outfits, but she will soon run out of the paper dolls and the toy will lose its appeal.
