Luckily I was in the audience for this recording, and it was a very enjoyable, very funny evening.
The main part of the DVD is the concert/cabaret evening itself, which runs to about 2 hours and includes a good mixture of both classic and new Fascinating Aida songs. Over the years FA have gained a reputation for being a little risque and I think their performances on this DVD maintain (and enhance) that reputation.
There are also a couple of extras on the DVD, there is the bowl of questions, which comes with its own theme tune, that has a tendency to stick in your head all day long, and a behind the scences extra.
There must be about two and a half hours altogether on here and is well worth it at the full price and even more so at Amazon's reduced price, so you might as well buy a box full, that way not only will you have your own copy to watch again and again, but your Christmas shopping will be dealt with too.

The girls have been around for long enough to be an institution (sorry Dilly and Adele) and have been strengthened by their fresh blood, the glamorous Liza. The reason for their durable appeal is their sharply observed humour, with a musical counterpoint such that the most wicked or sordid lyrics will be matched with the most angelic facial expresions and sweetest music. For those who remember Tom Lehrer, this was one of his hallmarks.
The Cheap Flights track has become a YouTube legend, with its parody of a trip that has to be Ryanair and Stansted even though the airline is not specifically named, presumably to avoid court!
Dogging has nothing to do with pets, and the consequences of the police appearance are perhaps unexpected.
Myriad subjects engage the girls, from the esoteric workings of financial markets to the ridiculous impact of Health& Safety mantras on normal life.
In the same way that any comedy sketch show can have some things that hit your funny bone and leave you limp with laughter, yet other sketches are merely ok; there are bound to be some tracks that appeal less than others. Nonetheless, the standard overall is high, both in writing and performance, and the best is sublime.
Overall, if you do not see this DVD, you have missed a chance to enhance your life. It is something you really should do before you die!

Having followed Fascinating Aida for all of their 27 years, I was delighted to at last have a chance to have a readily accessible visible record of their talent. Rude and crude some of it maybe, but always witty and very, very funny.

Oooh Aida
Great songs and satire by a super 'girl' band who know what singing,music and entertainment are about. The Ryan Air song and others are just sublime.

Fascinatingly fantastic
We have seen Dilly and her colleagues live three times and they get funnier and ruder everytime. This DVD must be the funniest performance so far. but it is not for prudes.

Fascinating Aida - Silver Jubilee DVD
Arrived very quickly. Excellent DVD which had me in stitches laughing. Some more serious songs, but these ladies have a very quirky outlook on life, which is hilarious. Good buy.
