This is the most in depth book published I am aware of on these small coins and it is certainly the most readily available. It has loads of large, good quality pictures illustrating most different varieties and is structured in a user-friendly way to allow relatively simple and precise classification of a given coin for what is a series characterised as much by its high degree of uniformity as anything else.
