Farmer Boy 13 Aug 2003
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
This is another wonderful book by Laura Ingalls Wilder about her husband's childhood. 'Farmer Boy' is written with the same care and detail as all of Laura's other Little House books about her own childhood. It's interesting to compare Almanzo's settled life growing up on a prospering farm to the life of Laura's pioneering family, and to see his early love of horses. I really enjoyed this book because it helped me to understand Almanzo more - I always felt I never really got to know him properly from 'These Happy Golden Years' and 'The First Four Years'.

This book is about how Manly grows up on his fathers farm about his brothers and sister. it is also tells of his love of horses as well as the trouble he and his siblings get in to. It is as magical as the other little house books. GREAT!! love it
