Simple and clean egg slicer, wires are strong and easy to clean and will not bend or snap when washing in the sink. Champion!

I thought this egg slicer was great until we had been using it for a few months. One day I took it out to find that the wires had snapped rendering it useless. This was after it was put through dish washer so not sure if that caused it to break, but am going to get something more robust this time.

This is the cheapest, the simpliest and the greatest egg slicer ever. I've gone througt loads other fancy crap. If you are an egg mayo fan as I am - that's yout thing. Just don't bury it under other kitchen gadgets in the drawer, give it it's own space (so it doesn't bend) and it will serve you a long time. Doesn't rust. Never tried to put it in dishwasher though, so I don't know about rust then, but who would bother anyway, it only needs a rince after use.

Rubbish egg slicer
There were other poor reviews on this item and I should have taken notice of them as after two uses and washes the wires all broke - very poor quality!

The hinges on this seem to be a weak point. The metal base has simply got some "tabs" curled over the frame of the wires. Read more

Very poor quality
This is very poor quality. Wires were bent after just one use and I tried to cut a standard egg! Has rather sharp edges too. Don't buy this.
