4.0 out of 5 stars A must for game masters and players alike., 19 Sep 2002
Sean P. Fannon has written a book that will stand in my mind as one of the best books on roleplaying so far. He's done a thorough research into the history of roleplaying, covering everything from the early wargames to the latest ear of live action rpg. The language is very "gamerish", and as such very laid-back. The editorial remarks throughout the book increases the humorous aspect of it, not to mention the "Dork Tower" strips by John Kovalic.
A book you everyone should read, gamer or not, for this is a work of art!
