not your ordinary wizards and dragons fantasy book, 13 May 2007
This review is from: Fantasy Art Masters (Hardcover)
do not expect to find many dragons in here. The artwork in this book contains fantasy art, landscapes, people, sketches and even some scifi. the artists in it are:
keith parkinson.. beautiful fantasy people and creatures.
anne sudworth: she draws landscapes that even though most dont ahve fantasy creatures in them, they stiill have that "somethnng" that makes them come out of a dream
judith clude: weird collages. not my style but still interesting to look
john harris: landscapes that look as if they came out of a scifi movie
phil hale: great paintings of people in situations
ian miller:nhis drawings and skethes have an amazing amount of detail in them
j k potter: photo manipulations . My favourite of his is the collage of the girl and scorpion man titled "midian"
and many others worth to see and explore

Reader beware!, 17 Feb 2006
This review is from: Fantasy Art Masters (Hardcover)
This is a fantastic book, which I ordered after getting hold of 'More Fantasy Art Masters' (Paperback, ISBN 0-8230-3127-6) thinking that this version would have been the prequel.
Unfortunately, it is identical in a hardback cover, and therefore not worth getting if you already have the aforementioned book!
It seems to be an issue of titling between US and UK versions of the book and I am waiting for an email from the publishers to explain.
