I am ONLY an amateur, but I highly recommend this book if you need ideas to "display" your work. This book has given me step by step ideas which are easy to follow.They are so simple, you will wonder why YOU did not think of them..People will wonder who "taught" you!! This book will give you the confidence to FURTHER your capabilities.Have confidence in this book if you are "just starting out", like me. A MUST... You will WANT MORE!

Verry good book. As a chef not only does it tell you how to do stuff but gives you ideas aswell.

This book includes excelent ideas, is well organized and has good pictures. Some of the instructions, though, I found a little difficult to follow initally: It took me several practice session to figure out exactly how to carve a rose on a potato.
