Format:Audio CD
First of all I would like to clear up that compilation is 5cd, not 3cd like a previous reviewer claims. Also, the compilation does include Heaven 17 - Temptation, so the reviewer who claims it doesn't must have received the wrong album.
Anyway, I couldn't resist but buy this as I am a huge fan of 80s music (me only being 22), the tracklisting really shocked me, I thought it would be another terrible 100 80s hits compilation that has a few overplayed hits and another 5 songs by the same artists, but no, this compilation has many huge artists such as Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Prince... artists I generally don't see often on these compilations.
The compilation is divided up into discs, each disc has a mood 1.) 80's Pop Heaven 2.) The Power of 80's Love 3.) The 80's - What a Feeling! 4.) Electric 80's 5.) 80's On the Radio. So there's a disc for whatever mood you're in! The tracklisting is so so great I just can't stress! It's not your typical average 80s compilation, if there is one 80s compilation you should own, this is it.
Yeah, there are missing artists that would have been great on here, such as Belinda Carlisle on disc 1, tears for fears on disc 4, but other than that this is perfect!!! If you're a fan of 80s music, buy this! You won't be disappointed.

Absolute classic tracks and CDs grouped by themes. I bought this for an 80s hen do and it went down a storm!

This first volume contains some brilliant songs. If, like me, you were born at the start of the 80's, you probably wont remember half the songs on here and you might not like all you hear, but I found one or two excellent songs that made me really pleased I bought these CDs. If you remember the 80's well, this is for you. I'd definitely recommend getting all 3 volumes if you can.

Great compilation
Since I was a student in the 80's these are the sort of songs I would hear every day, an excellent compilation though I think they left some out for Vol 2! ;)

songs of the eighties
recently bought this great cd got lots of songs on it i had forgotten about good value for money would reccomend anyone who liked the 80s to listen to it overall love it
