About the Author

In the fifty years since his death, Vaughan Williams has come to be regarded as one of the finest British composers of the 20th century. He has a particularly wide-ranging catalogue of works, including choral works, symphonies, concerti, and opera. His searching and visionary imagination, combined with a flexibility in writing for all levels of music-making, has meant that his music is as popular today as it ever has been.

I heard (and saw) this arrangement on James Ehnes's excellent 'Homage' CD/DVD and bought it as a result. It's an excellent arrangement by a very reliable musician (Watson Forbes), it does full justice to the music and is lovely to play - and this piece suits the mellow sonority of the viola very well. Recommended.

It wasn't what I ordered! I ordered 4 PIANO DUETS: I only got two. Greensleeves was for FLUTE & piano, and Viva Vivaldi was a CD!!
