She's shocking, she's erotic master, she's emotional, she's adventurous, she's absolutely charming... It's Erica Jong. Her Fanny is very erotic, very adventurous, very exciting novel for all erotic-lovers and also lovers of good literature and this is a novel you'll find hard to stop reading once you begin.
It's also very fearless and breaks many tabuus. Erica dares to write about things many people never would have courage to write.

after a fall of heavy classical literature, Fanny was exactly what I needed to regain my love for literature. It is funny, witty and manages to balance perfectly between arousing eroticism and the vulgar. Upon finishing the last page, I had the same feeling I had the first time I watched Grease so many years ago; that I would never again find reason to be unhappy. Fanny is simply a happy pill!!
Pirates, witches, sex; Fanny has it all, and you can't help but fall in love with all of the heroes and heroines, each in their own way perfectly wonderful. It is really the perfect novel, in the sense that it succeeds completely in letting you escape to another world, and manages to keep you there for more than 600 pages.

When I first opened Erica Jong's fanny I knew I was in for a treat. The hi-jinx story of an aristocratic adoptee - who becomes, variously, a witch, highway robber, prostitute, pirate and author - romps from start to finish like a mad dash across open country under heavy fire. I loved it. I just wish Erica Jong would write a follow-up, charting what happens to Belinda ...
