Just place in the water for a few seconds and if the water is the correct temperature the Turtle thermometer shows a tick at the ideal temperature, as shown in the image. The thermometer will also show when the water is too cold or too warm.
Please note: The reading must be taken when held under the water for a few seconds and the water must come fully into contact with the thermometer strip. A tick on a green background must appear. The margin of safe/comfortable water temperature lies around 37C. A bath thermometer is for guidance only and is not a substitute for parents' personally testing the water temperature before putting baby in the bath. me and my partner, we already had lots of fun with this thermometers package. we were checking our temperature with the forehead thermometer, which worked fine on my partner and we are also regulary checking if our room is at the right temperature for our new arrival :0) the package has a very sweet design, i absolutely love it and for the fantastic price i would recommend it to all the future parents. the seller also dispatched the item really quickly and i had it after two or three days after ordering, which was in my opinion really quickly.
Due a baby in a few weeks, and am terrified of bath time! Hopefully this will come in use when the time comes...

I bought primarily for the bath thermometer which is really simple - the water is either too cold (-), just right (tick) or too hot (+). The turtle design makes it really fun for bath time too. However, it does get dog-earred quite quickly.
