For anyone that hasnt seen this series then you really dont know what you are missing.
Im in my 30s and i missed it first time around.
But i love anything wwii related so i thought i would give it a try.
The first few episodes really do drag and it really took a while to get into it.
At first after watching episode 1+2 i put it down and didnt go back to it for 6 months as i found it boring.
However i decided to give it another try and im so glad i did.
The quality of acting is top notch.
Word of warning though.
Manufacturer dont mention that half of this series was recorded in Black and White due to industrial action, i got half of the series in color and the last half in black and white.
This is something that should be mentioned on the website.
Anyway i cant reccomend this series enough and i can only hope that series 3 will be back to colour again.
Anyone that loves this series should check out the greatest WWII series ever made.
SECRET ARMY.

See my review on Series One. This is better - you know the characters and they have overcome the tendency to caricature that they started with. For example, Sefton was a standard hate figure as an unfeeling businessman, but is now showing another side as a father trying to make up for some of his mistakes. Still a 4-star as some of the acting is a bit wooden, but still a good watch.
