Trey and June have known each other for years, Trey was popular June was not, June was kind Trey..... was not. Trey took every opportunity he could to pick on June and make her life miserable, but Trey had a secret he always liked June but pressure from others made him scared to admit it and Trey found every opportunity to get June's attention. Now years later June has moved back to town and opened a bakery across from his tattoo shop.
June hates Trey with good reason and she hates that she finds him attractive so when he walks into her bakery she keeps her defenses up and makes it known that she hasn't forgotten or forgiven Trey. But Trey isn't the same person he was and now Trey has decided to make all the wrongs he did right and claim June in the process. But June isn't making it easy and when she finally starts to open up to him her family will throw another wrench in his plans.
This was a great book I loved Trey and his friends(Max and Dale) and I loved June and her friend Molly. This was a great hot, quick, fun read what I have come to expect from Mrs. Crescent. I loved reading about June and Trey not only falling in love but June learning to trust Trey and learn to let the past go. An added bonus was reading about Dale and Molly I hope they get their own story and I really hope that Max the man h*e gets knocked down a few notches by the woman who knocks him off his feet.
