A kingdom, powerful and mighty. A romance, hidden from all.

The queen of the land and her most faithful knight committed treason; in the darkness of night, they married. The knight, strong and noble, his skill spoken of with awe. The queen, beautiful and fair. Their love can never be discovered.

But when an army of orcs invade and murder the queen right before his very eyes, the knight sets off on a perilous journey to take back the kingdom and make his enemies pay.

The kingdom has fallen. But all hope is not lost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Medieval Perfection! 8 Feb 2014
By Paula Rose Michelson - Published on

Hearkening back to the knights of old that were bold and true when honor meant more than life and true love was forever, T.A. Lindsay's novella "Fallen Kingdom" is a modern wonder for it is lovingly fashioned by a weaver of tails, trials, and right who sets before her reader a banquet of otherworldly delight replete with more than any modern day telling of a knight who chooses a mission he cannot win, what motivates him, and why when all is said and done, the reader, says, "Where is the rest of the story?" while knowing full well that the ending had to be written exactly as it was because one more word might have marred the perfection.

Always writing about choices and how God can help us change, Paula Rose Michelson wrote the Amazon Best Selling Christian self-help book "How Did We Become Angry?" That book and her three sweet Christian fictions with a Messianic twist and a hint of history: "Beginning Anew: The Naomi Chronicles" and "Casa de Naomi: The House of Blessing, Books One and Two", are available on Amazon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic short story 29 Aug 2013
By Merci - Published on
A journey for the records! Hailing back to the fantastic world of orcs and dragons, Lindsay takes the readers for a fantasy trip in the fast lane. I read the book to my younger sister, who stated she was upset over the length. So short, for such fantastic writing? A crime, honestly. The book is great, anything but disappointing.
