If you want to know more about the subject then this is a great little book to own, insightful, nicely written and with good sketches to visualise the beings. Excellent present to give to someone into 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' or the 'Angel' series, and who wants to know more about these creatures.

I am often drawn to forgoten/esoteric with this book some
passages became less confusing. Few ancient texts cared to include
an adequate glossary for terms such as loa, lerajie, forcas, etc.
yet this book does contain them and many less farmiliar creatures in
addition the common vampire, lucifer, and zombie listings with a
more extensive description than offered popularly.

I loved the book but I was still looking for some things that weren't there. It explained a lot and was orderly and useful to my need.
