Book Description

Entertainment journalist, Ryan Pierce, meets the infamous bad-boy rocker, Dagger Drummond, and walks away with a great interview and a scandalous news bit that has the potential to turn the music world on its ear. Exposing the story would boost Ryan's career, but it would also come with the risk of ruining Dagger's privacy – and possibly his Rock God status.

The unlikely friendship that develops between Dagger and Ryan brings Ryan to question more than just his journalistic oath to report the news. It also forces him to take a look at himself and newly discovered feelings – feelings that make Ryan blind to the risk of becoming front page news himself.

Will Ryan find the courage to make a life decision to give himself true happiness with Dagger or take the path that would likely lead to heartbreak and destroy his career forever?

About the Author

Ann Lister is a native New Englander currently living on the island of Martha's Vineyard with her husband Bob Lister. She has pulled details from her years living in the New England area and uses many local settings and landmarks in her novels. After graduating art school and raising two daughters, she established her own video production company. Her nearly two decades working in video production included work within the music industry and won her a coveted Telly Award. It was this 'behind-the-scenes' exposure to the music world that inspired three of her novels, "Sheet Music: A Rock 'n' Roll Love Story", and "For All The Right Reasons", and "Covered In Lace: The Lacey Sheridan Story". Her novel, "Without A Doubt" takes place on Martha's Vineyard, giving readers a postcard glimpse at island life...and love. Her fourth novel, "An Early Spring", was released in June of 2012. "Fall For Me" is Book One in her new rock star romance series, The Rock Gods. Book Two, "Take What You Want" is expected in the Fall of 2013.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Read!!! 14 Oct. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have read many rock star romance books which I have enjoyed but I must admit it is not my favourite genre. I saw a review of this book on ggr and was intrigued as it said this book was a perfect read. I totally agree with that review. Yes one of the main characters is a rock star and the other a music journalist but that's such a small part of this story. This is about raw love from two intelligent guys that have to find the power and strength to deal with the past, the future as well as their own identities together.
My emotions and feeling were extremely high while reading Fall For Me and I found I was constantly telling myself to slow down my reading speed as I just wanted to get to the end of the Book and hope for a happy ever after.
This is the first book I have read by Anne Lister and I am about to download more of her books while I try and wait patiently for the next perfect read in this series!
Highly recommended!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars My first M/M read. 4 Oct. 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Well, that was an experience.
3.5 stars

This is my first ever M/M read. I've read M/F/M books and I've read books with M/M scenes in, but never read a solely male on male book! To be honest, it's not even something I've really even considered a whole lot.
I've read and reviewed for this author before and when she asked me to give this a go, having really enjoyed her previous works, I readily agreed.
And I have to say, I quite enjoyed it. I didn't, like some people have said they did, forget that it wasn't M/F, and I don't think I felt quite the same as I do when a man falls for his woman... I was always very much aware that this book was about two men. But I did enjoy it.

"I am completely in love with him. Nothing else compares. He is my everything; there is no other way to say it."

It was hot! There was a lot of sex in this book. A good, hefty dose of smut and one very sexy rockstar.

"All of this scares the s*** out of me," Ryan said. "But the rush I get from you is like no other. I can't get enough and I can't walk away."

In 'Fall For Me', we meet Ryan, a straight entertainment journalist. Or so he thinks. His meeting with rockstar, Dagger, doesn't go quite as he expects and as a result of the continued contact afterward, Ryan is left questioning his sexuality, for the first time in his life.

"If you spend too much time thinking about doing something, you won't ever have enough time to experience it - or feel it. And feeling is the best part of anything. That's how we know we're alive."

To add to the complications, although Dagger has always been acutely aware of his sexuality, his life in the public eye won't allow him to live openly.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not bad but not all that great 25 Aug. 2014
By Mrs P
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Couldn't really get into this book at all. Disliked the way there was no division between characters' POV and you just slid around at times not sure who was talking. The dialogue felt clichéd in many places. I felt unable to properly engage with the characters as there was no particular fleshing out of their personalities, especially in regard to Dagger. I felt the sex scenes were uninspired, lacking any real passion. All in all I don't think it's a good sign when I'm skipping section s of a book just to get to the end.

What a beautiful story.
It the first time I've read a story about the same sex in a relationship. Beautifully written.
The struggles of Ryan pierce the journalist who meets the bad boy rocker dagger Drummond.
Couldn't put the book downl.
Loved the personalities and they were so passionate with each other.
But tastefully written.
Knew Sebastian was a baddie!
