I received this CD through a lending program, which I then disregarded for months. I'm so sorry I waited. I've been a lifelong insomniac and this is helping.
After a particularly sleepless string of days, I took it to the office on a Saturday morning, thinking I would listen to it while I worked. I loaded it in, started it playing and... I nearly fell asleep in the middle of work. I quickly stopped the CD and put it back in the case.
Later at home, I loaded the book into my iPhone. I have a "Sleep Cycle" app on there as well.
When bedtime came around, I plugged the phone in, set the "Sleep Cycle" to wake me at 5:15am for work and started listening to Mr. Rossman's book. I went to sleep pretty fast for me. I woke several times during that first night, which was "normal" for me, but I was able to quickly return to sleep.
Since then, I have slept better and better. I am taking less medication: I've cut out Ambien, expecting to cut out Tylenol PM and use less Melatonin. I hope Mr. Rossman won't take this wrong, but I don't know how anyone could stay awake with him droning on in the background?
I think this is a very helpful CD and if the other reviewer didn't find it helpful, perhaps she was trying to listen to it as an actual BOOK. Maybe she thought there was a test afterward?
