Although I consider the bike good value for money, I was disappointed that there were no assembly instructions and no tools apart from an allen key. Given that the bike has disc brakes on front I think there should be more assistance provided in getting this set up properly.

I ordered this bike for my son's birthday and was very happy with it:
#Large heavy duty packaging prevented any damage
#Easy to unpack
#Sturdy frame
#Disc brakes all round
#18 gears
The only bad thing to say about this was, the assembly manual lacked detail...
It had nothing in it about assembling the front wheel and adjusting the disc brake.. not too much of a nightmare to work out for me but, surprisingly missed by the manufacturer.
You need your own spanners to get the pedals and seat on as you only get an allun key to do up the handlebars.
Overall, I'm happy with the bike and got one for myself ;)

Great for the price
The bike is fine. however if you know nothing about bikes steer clear as the instructions for assembly are pitiful. No tools supplied and tyres are only semi-inflated. Read more

great for the money, but rubbish bottom bracket.
As others have said you will need some basic tools and the instructions are minimal.
Once the gears and brakes are set up correctly this bike is a pleasure to ride. Read more
