As an avid tea drinker and famously known by my friends in Cappagh, Co. Limerick as "the brewmaster" I thought my life was complete, that is until one cold and frosty November morn when browsing Amazon I stumbled upon an falcon enamel 14 cm teapot. Now some people say that size doesn't matter and I was always a well known advocate of that phrase amongst the Capp-aagh!!! tea, gin & bridge club, however, this14cm teapot put my 10cm of china white to shame!!
I was impressed with the ordering process, it was so simple even for this dithering sommelier, I had the basket full and had "checked out" as you young folks call it in no time, I was given a delivery date of November 20th and was hoping that same delivery wouldn't clash with my prostate examination in Limerick Regional Hospital. To my utter surprise I heard a knock on the Monday morning at approx 10am which interrupted my morning polish of my Italian 90 world cup coin collection (which was incidentally Irelands first world cup) this interruption however was most welcome when I saw the courier van outside the door my heart skipped a beat!!! The delivery man was kind and courteous, after politely declining my offer of a cup of tea in my fine china set he dispatched his package.
The parcel although nicely packaged couldn't contain me any longer, I cut through the tape using my sterling silver Wedgwood envelope opener for the first time and fished out the single handled amphora, it certainly exceeded my expectations in terms of its appearance, however, where this item really excels is in the kitchen, my first cup of tea was as memorable a cup as you can imagine, I have already shown the teapot off to the other members of the Capp-aagh tea, gin & bridge club where they are all jealous of my purchase! I would certainly recommend this product to any party and am willing to provide any testament!
