This was an unputdownable thriller. Peter James is a master of storytelling. You think you're moving along gently and then, wham!, you're into the rush of the story. The tension never slips for a moment. I also thought the book was particularly revealing and informative about the motivation of the drug companies, and the comparison with complementary medicine. Like all the best thrillers, it increases your knowledge at the same as entertaining and frightening you.

I love all the books i have ever read from Peter James and all his new Roy Grace books are just as enthralling as his older books. Great story build up, lots of nerve tingling tension and all his endings are totally unexpected. If you have not read Peter James you don't know what you are missing

This book keeps you riveted from page one. I took it to read whilst on holiday in France, and finished it in two days - what to read for the remaining 12! The most frightening aspect of the book was the fact that it was all wholly believeable and could in fact happen - scary! Can't wait for the next one - and if you read this Peter, please make it long enough for a holiday!
