This book is a lovely hardback book with a cloth cover and paper dustcover. It is the perfect size to pop in your bag and take with you, unlike full sized hardcovers. It includes 58 stories, has gold coloured edges to the paper and a ribbon to mark your place. Really sweet edition including all the popular stories.

The stories are amazing and I love to dip into a couple of stories a night before going to sleep. I loved reading the ones I was familiar with, and enjoyed the ones I was not!!!!

This book is very nice. However, I guess I didn't the details--I was expecting a full-size book, and this is about 3 by 6 inches. The print is small, so if you have problems reading small print you might opt for a larger version. Otherwise, nice little book! My 3 year old won't leave it alone. It's like a life-like scholarly piece, just her size.

Great collector books for a personnal library

I originaly bought one of this series because of the price and the quality.I loved them so much I now own every book that is curretly published in this series.I am greatly looking forward to the new additions in Sept.These classics are a great value and quality.It is a nice affordable way for the average person to own a decent set of the classics that otherwise might be a little bit out of our reach.There are a lot more versions in this series available through the Amazon (UK) than there are here in america.But still a great deal.I am proud to say,"yes I not only OWN the classics,but I have read them too."They are just the right size that you can take them pretty much anywhere.The quality assures you that they will not only last you for many years to come,but your future generations as well.Enjoy!

glorious little book

The content of this book is beyond the humble reviewer. Suffice to say these fairy tales pack a lot of meaning into their layers and are worthwhile of the telling and retelling. They should not be forgotten.
What I want to share with potential buyers however is what a pleasant book this is. The book is not large but a small size that fits well in the hands. The pages are printed on paper stock with a pleasant texture and a wonderful smell. If you are a bibliophile then you appreciate the smell of good paper. This book has it. The dust cover holds up well to use and overall I am very pleased with this version of the book. I have a few others I have picked up at second hand sales but this one is my favorite to actually hold and read. Most pleasing experience.
