I purchased this book for my 2 children.......and partly for myself so that I could re-live my childhood. It pretty much has them all in it. My children really love the stories and I read a couple to them as a bedtime treat. The only thing about the book is that it is not well illustrated, which to me adds to the charm, but for little ones, it may not be so good. They may not be interested in reading the books for themselves as it is just a black and white print type of book.
However, all the classics are in here so surely that has to be a good thing?

I wanted a book for my baby girl with all the stories in it from when I was a child. Although this doesn't have pictures or isn't in colour it has all the classic stories, I love to read to my girl each night. I have bought a couple of other book in this set as well. Good value!

Just what I wanted to read to my first grandchild (and any others that may come along)! I want him/them to hear all the stories I heard and read when I was a child. This little book is very well presented and matches the other two I purchased, Nursery Rhymes and Bedtime stories. I was very pleased with the product,with the service, and with the price. I will certainly peruse this site again when I am shopping.
