This book is once again a big hit with my 7 nearly 8 year old daughter. We have been reading the set of Gwyneth Rees fairy books and this was the next book to read. The set as a whole has been a magical adventure for my daughter ( and me!!). They do touch on quite sad story lines and do cover some subjects that children may not have come across such as divorce, death and illness and have been very hard on the heart strings and have made even myself cry but having said all that they are truly beautifully written stories and always have a happy ending!! Me & my daughter are on the last book now and wont know what to read next!!!!!!

Girl Pleaser for the Princess Set

My 5.5 year old granddaughter listened to this book on a 6 hour trip today. She loved it! We would pause the story periodically to navigate traffic or hunt for a specific place and she would always ask to start the story back. Even her grandfather and I got caught up in the clever little tale. For girls who love princesses and fairies and a bit of adventure, the story if perfect.
