Absolutely beautiful glasses, larger than I imagined, and very quirky. They are very nicely packaged in a recycled box with recycled newspaper with the Information printed on the box. They come with a little card telling you the name of the person who made the glasses and a tag to say that my glasses started their life as a wine bottle.
They stand very well and rock gently, you would be hard pushed to knock them over and spill unless you were filling them right up, which you shouldn't really be!
I cannot understand the comments from people complaining about the green tint or the bubbles, or the fact that they're not in some fancy presentation box, these are fair trade and recycled, supporting an African community.
Will attempt to attach some photos with the glasses next to the box and a drink can for size comparison.
I would highly recommend the glasses, the feel solid, are definitely a talking point, the stand a little crooked when they are not rocking and I imagine every one of them is unique in its own way.
Perfectly good gift for anyone with an appreciation for recycling and fair trade and you would have to be fairly pretentious to think these are either poor quality or not well presented. Read the description.
Quirky, green tinted, fair trade glasses from recycled wine bottle, some bubbles in the glass, stand crooked, round weighted bottom so they rock (back and forth) wrapped in Swaziland newspapers in a recycled box. Absolutely beautiful.
