The song opens with a warm bassline and oddly haunting acoustic guitar, and brings in a weeping slide guitar, but it's the minute that you hear Hope Sandoval's late-night vocals that you fall in love with this song.
'She Hangs Brightly' from which this single is taken is sometimes a little inaccessible, but the best two songs from it are on this single (the other being 'Five String Serenade'). Both songs are perfect for listening to in the dark (though male listeners might well encounter a slap from their significant others for drifting away with the lovely Hope)
Well worth going for if you want something that is at once sexy and yet makes the hairs on your arms stand up.
