Given the nature of the guide it does not spoil much. It can be quite helpful in helping you figure out the weapons and strategize about a particular way to complete a mission. However, with this game, there are multiple ways to complete a mission and the guide favors only one in most cases. The maps are also included, but they do not match, in terms of topography, the map used in the game. The maps in the guide include more terrain detail which can make it difficult to locate landmarks. Also, the markers on the maps are very general. I tried finding all the M.O.A.B.'s but the locations in the guide do not match the locations actually in the game. For instance, in the guide book, the device was on one mountain, but in-game, the device was on top of another, a town and a road opposite of where it said it would be. The guide can be handy, but you will be able to complete the game without it, and if you need a map, an online alternative might be more helpful.
