This is really one of Mina best album of new songs in recent years. After listening for the first time to "Facile", as soon as the beautiful latin ballad "Questa vita loca" starts you know you are in for a treat.
There is something for every musical taste and Mina can really sing anything. Is very difficult to choose my favourite track, they are all great and each one of them could be a great single.
Two fantastic collaboration with the new wave of italian rock "Adesso e` facile" written by the Afterhours (and sung with their frontman Manuel Agnelli) and "Non ti voglio piu`" written and played by the Subsonica, are the examples of her ability to wonder through any kind of music and do it with great result.
"Ma tu mi ami ancora" brings back the classic Mina that we learned to love and she doesn't dissapoint. You cannot help but sing along "Non si butta via niente" a good uplifting song. With "Carne Viva" a beatiful and sensual tango, "Ma c'e` tempo" a jazzy ballad, "Piu` del tartufo sulle uova" a blues, "Con o senza te" a sweet acustic ballad and "Volpi nei pollai" a folk ballad Mina really shines through. She plays with the songs and you can tell she had fun singing them. When you get to "Eccitanti conflitti curiosi" you cant believe is the last song, but actually is not really as you are in for a last hidden gem.
This is a very special album and is definetly one of Mina's best work in a long time. You'll listen to "Facile" again and again...easy
