To use a well worn word, this book is amazing. We hear much about whether there is or isn't life after death, and in my opinion most of the books on angels, mysticism etc leave huge room for doubt. But Faces of the Living Dead would challenge the most ardent sceptic.
The psychic artist Frank Leah produced portraits of dead people.(I can hear the sceptics groaning already...) But consider: He frequently drew the portraits without knowing whose they were; only much later were some of them identified. He worked in the 1930s, 40s and 50s and had no access to today's information technology. The comparison photographs supplied by families after the portraits were completed sometimes took months or years to find.
If you have an open mind about life beyond death this book will really make you think. The portraits are breathtaking and the story fascinates. Spooky, for sure, but really thought provoking.
