An Engaging Account of Life in Latin America 23 April 2000
By A Customer - Published on
Format: Paperback
Green does a fantastic job of presenting an overview of the history and culture of Latin America. The books contains many photographs of the region. It is an easy read and a good place to start if you're interested in Latin America and don't want to get too bogged down with historical details.

Poor writing passed off as "academic" . . . 14 Jan. 2012

I got this book for a class last semester and was absolutely appalled by the poor quality of writing. Sometimes even basic grammar is overlooked. There is also an extreme bias to the writing which is often hard to get past.

The book was needed for my Social History of Latin America and it was marked as "used". There was some writing in it,but over all the condition of the book was good. The price was good as well. Much cheaper than my local bookstore.
