Format:Audio CD
As a long time Y&T fan I didn't really expect much from this, their first album in many years.
What a surprise! At first I thought it sounded good, with a lot of similarities to their mid eighties period. But constant plays have resulted in this being right up there with any album they have done before, except earthshaker.
Dave's voice is on fine form, Phil's bass is wonderful, and the whole thing is full of amazing hard rock'n'roll played just the way Y&T excel at.
Just a shame that Japanese bonus track Deadly deceiver isn't on this, although you can download the mp3. It's worth it.
I can't single out any song on the album, as each and every one of them is great in it's own way.
Whether you're a lapsed Y&T fan or just a fan of quality hard rock, then I can't recommend this enough.
(and get out to see the guys on their UK tour later this year. Best band in the world!)

I've been a Y&T fan for many years, since I saw them play at Reading Festival in 1982. How time flys..! Although this album does not surpass or equal the classics from the band's peak years in the early '80s, it is what I've been hoping and waiting for. A real return to form! Great song writing and musicianship throughout. Trademark guitar aplenty! If you're a bit of a 'lapsed' Y&T fan, this will re-ignite your fire.

I am 42 and that says it all about my tastes for Y&T and other metal bands of the 80's, many of which are making a comeback (Ratt, Pretty Maids etc). I took a chance on this album based on good reviews posted here, having dropped out of Y&T long ago. This album is stunning. For me it starts really from track 4, and the rest grabs you at the first listening. This is a MUST HAVE for metal fans of then and now, these "old" guys are really in shape and I can't wait to see them live this autumn. Well done Dave and Co!
