Pretty useless. Filled with murky photos that supposedly illustrate the points the author has buried in excess, mostly irrelevant, verbiage that you have to wade through to get any useful information.

I was looking for concise explanations of terminology and clear explanations of functions. As someone else said, you'd be better off just signing up for Twitter and/or Facebook and exploring/experimenting on your own. Most likely the important "getting started" information could have been covered in under ten pages of text with a few concept-focused illustrations rather than the 320 pages of fluff along with (self promoting) screen shots the point of which is often not obvious ... assuming you have a magnifying glass to aid your search for relevance.

Great book that has shown me (a definite Senior!) how to use Facebook and Twitter.

On Facebook now, I have lots of new friends including a really friendly Nigerian chap who is going out of his way to organise the payment of an inheritance I am due from a relative I didn’t even know I had. That’s the magic of Facebook!

On Twitter, I found it a little more difficult as I’m not used to containing my thoughts to 140 characters, but I’m getting the hang of it now and it’s surely only a matter of time before Stephen Fry reverse-tweets one of my random thoughts about sausagemeat (I have a lot of these – have you ever noticed how it has breadcrumbs in it so it’s not really fully meat? #sausagemeat #reversetweetplease)
