This is my very first review and I am going to keep it short. The book was very well written and I fully enjoyed the characters and the story.

Exciting read 30 May 2010
By TerryB
Format:Paperback
'Dray' Draybeck is based at the Terran Military space station, she is training to be a fighter pilot. Jordan Bowers is her bunk mate and is training along side of her. Although Jordan is attracted to Dray, she can't allow herself to get close to her or anyone else. She is hiding a dark secret that could have dire consequences for herself and others around her. The space station comes under attack and Dray and Jordan are thrown into combat. There follows battles, sabotage and heartache.
A very exciting read. Full of suspense, intrigue, prejudices and romance. It's a pity there isn't a sequel.

Synopsis 5 Jun 2009
By Maria2222 TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:Paperback
Helena 'Dray' Draybeck is a military brat finishing her final year of fighter pilot training at a Terran Military space station. She's cocky about everything except her dismal track record with women. Dray is driven to be a top pilot like her mother, but someone at the space station does not want Dray to succeed.

Jordan Bowers is the daughter of a high-ranking ambassador. She wants a career as far away from politics as possible. As one of the best cadets in the fighter pilot program, Jordan captures Dray's attention in more ways than one. But Jordan won't let anyone get close to her. She hides a terrible secret that could end her own career and turn Dray against her.

When an explosion on their training station turns into a full-fledged attack, Dray and Jordan are put on the fast track to active military duty. But Dray's enemy sabotages her assignment and her chances with Jordan.

The threat of war pits Dray and Jordan against family, questionable allies, and an enemy neither is prepared for. Can they build something more than friendship, or will war and family secrets tear these two women apart?

Face of the Enemy is a stand alone novel set in the Terra/Nova universe, where chip implants and DNA manipulation are commonplace, and bigotry drives an interstellar superpower.
