Read this book. If you want to know how to live a holy life, or you hope for a world in which people can be open with each other, or you want to be changed by careful listening - then read this book. And if you want the Church of England to experience integrity, honesty and holiness, then read this book and encourage other people to read it too. There are places where it looks as if the text was written and edited (or rather not edited) in a hurry. I expect it was - for here is an unusual book: it is timely, it is based on carefully-collected evidence, it is rational, and it is passionate. I have never seen a better argument for not only allowing gay couples to marry but for insisting that they should.
