This is a record that will appeal not only to folk lovers, but also to anyone who likes to hear top class music.
Alison O'Donnell was the singer in Mellow Candle, whose 1972 record "Swaddling Songs" should belong in any record collection worth the name. She joins The Owl Service singing, playing and co-authoring several tracks, and the result is two ages of folk mixing in a sound of our century, crystalline voices and harmonies, with a touch of psychedelia that makes the final result better.
Full recomendation. My only criticism is that it ends soon, leaving you longing for more. So you'll do well checking another Owl Service releases and of course Mellow Candle record.
