Dirty Beats From The Dirty Bird 9 May 2009

Thanks to fabricfirst this arrived early. Vonstroke delivers with his unmistakeable sound. Crazy samples and edits feature on the tracks, and add to the fun.
It feels like a typical club set, featuring a varied selection including a few dirtybird and mothership label tracks. The collab with Bootsy Collins - The Greasy Beat pretty much sums up the mix:
"If the funk is too hot for your rump, turn the other cheek".
Voodeux - Just A Spoonful is absolutely infectious! Even better than his 'At The Controls' mix. Great stuff.

Another gem from Fabric 30 Aug 2009

If you like your House/Techno funky and weird this is for you. Lots of unusual and edgy samples and sounds........and some great productions too. Ive been playing this pretty much non-stop since I got it. The track with Bootsy Collins is perfection. I would say this is a lot funkier than the other mixes I have from Mr. Von Stroke, and all the better for it !!!

I would love to hear this madness in a club !!!
