Let me tell you why I don't see the point in this:
If you want to know what's so good about the Spartan armour (called Hal's armour in Fable) go on the wiki. Same with the sword.
DVD isn't worth it. There are a few video diaries on there and that's about it...
In the Game of the Year Edition, you get the Knothole Island DLC and the See the Future DLC, both very interesting. See the Future is kind of a peek into Fable 3, saying that some time there will be a Hero King again. (I think it mentions SPOILERS!!!! that you're the king and your child is the player in Fable 3, but I'm not sure). Knothole Island comes with THREE quests that are all mid-length to long (to me) and once you've completed them all you can control the weather on the Island.
These two were both very good, and I'm glad I got the GOTY Edition. I don't see the point in the Limited Edition though - some armour that gets boring two minutes after you put it on, a sword that makes an electrical sound (sarcastic "ooh") and 20 more minutes of gameplay to get another sword that ISN'T THAT GOOD?! (I'm referring to the Dungeon quest you can only get with this edition)
Lionhead made a quality game here, but the Special Edition isn't needed. AT ALL.
Take the Force Unleashed. In their Special Edition (I see the Ultimate Sith edition as the special edition) IT'S ACTUALLY A SEPARATE GAME! There's a different story on A DIFFERENT DISK. With Fable 2 special edition what do you get? Not much. What you DO get is pretty mediocre, too. Fable 2 is way worth the buy, my favourite game in fact - I'm playing it right now - but the Limited Edition isn't worth the extra money.
HOPE I'VE HELPED.
