Fab effex was a total waste of money. My 8 year daughter used her birthday money to buy this as she had seen it advertised on telly. It was very disappointing. The scissors enclosed didn't cut properly, the material didn't stick together and it was much smaller than had been implied. We returned the item and received a full refund.

It's hard to believe how absolutely rubbish this product is. My child had seen this advertised on TV and requested it for her birthday. You can see now that 90% of the hugely inflated retail price covers the cost of the marketing. When you take out the packaging you are left with the contents that are not even worth a pound.
Inside are a few, very small bits of fabric, a cheap plastic pair scissors, some ridiculous plastic template shapes and a very small plastic figure. That's it. There is not enough fabric in there to even make the all the items shown on the product box.
Save yourself the money, hassle and explanations to your kids and cut up some old clothes and use some glue. I promise you it will be 100 times more fun, creative and rewardingFab Effex Variety Pack

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter so bad that the scissors was so hard to use and there wasn't enough materiel to even make anything there was no instructions.
It was just horrific.Don't bother spending all that money its just going to disgust you.

i wasn't impressed with this product i felt it was not worth the money i paid for it. it was the main thing my daughter asked santa for but she has hardly looked near it.
