4.0 out of 5 stars Never Be Bored Again! 24 Dec 2008
Format:Paperback
This is a brilliant book ideal for procrastinating! It suggests a HUGE range of websites to visit and online videos to watch when you really should be doing something more important. You can find sites that allow you to blow up fellow jelly babies in a battle to your confectionery grave, watch drunk people falling over or even watch sand fall from the top to the bottom of your screen.

Whichever you decide to do, this book will keep you amused for hours.

Sure, I could find some of these things on the internet myself, and have previously seen a few, but I like how the book brings the amusement of the internet together in this little guide.

Overall, it's a light-hearted guide to avoiding boredom that I really enjoyed.

This is a very Scottish centric book and is also very out of date. Buy it for people who think that 'app' is short for 'apple', but don't buy it for people who use the interweb or they will think you are defected or something. There are far funnier things actually on the internet rather than killing trees and making orangutans homeless for a quick buck like this book is doing.

AVOID!

4.0 out of 5 stars A FUN time-waster! 30 Mar 2009
By J. Young - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I read through this book, cover to cover, at a time when I did not have access to my computer. It was a fun read on its own. And now I intend to go through the book at a more leisurely pace and check out a number of the sites -- and, yes, in all probability, FWD a Link or two!
3.0 out of 5 stars I'm sure there is some measure of irony in a book about wasting time on the internet 2 Jun 2013
By T. Edmund - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
Fwd this link delivers on exactly what it promises - all the best viral and hilarious webpages to be found online.

I also found the author's jaunts into explaining viral videos and commentary on them very funny. My only complaint being as the book wore on, so to did the humor.

And i guess ultimately this book has a lot of competition in the form of blogs, comment shows and the like already online, and with this in mind I'm not sure FWD this link is worth tearing yourself away from the computer to consume.
