I purchased these with a little trepidation as to these markers eliminating surface scratching. They actually work very well if you give a little more thought than just reading the instructions. In essence these are simply felt tip pens so perhaps a bit pricey.
I used them on a polyurethane coated solid bamboo flooring. I have quite a number of light scratches which are lighter in colour than the floor itself.
Tips: Firstly the ink dries quickly. Apply the lightest colour to your scratch (dont worry about overspill) and within about 5-10 seconds very lightly rub over with a paper towel lightly soaked with white spirits or similar. The trick here is to always rub perpendicular (90degrees) to the scratch. Why? What you want to do is remove the residue/overspill of ink but not remove the ink in the scratch. So emphasis is on lightly glide if you like, the towel over the surface. If you let the ink dry too much you will find it harder to remove and then you will remove the ink inside the scratch. Remember the scratch is in effect a groove no matter how light the scratch.

Yes, these are nothing more than permanent marker pens, but in shades fitting for most furniture types. I bought these for use on a chest of drawers and floorboards. Obviously, this isn't the perfect solution, but for something like floorboards - which are constantly in the firing line of wear and tear - these pens will do the job. Regular re-touching is required, but a few minutes of your time will result in a reasonable cosmetic repair.

Any felt tip pen would work as well as this product did. I was not very impressed with job the pens did and I would definately not purchase the pens again.
