This Ministry of Sound double CD mix album can only be described as "mad as a hatstand". Mind-blowing Midlands meddlers, Bentley Rhythm Ace have brought together a selection of beat-heavy tunes interspersed with eccentric interludes from the most unexpected sources. On this CD you will find rock, hip-hop, drum and bass, acid and even the odd mellow folk tune all beautifully mixed together by Bentley's underlying style of crazy "running-on-the-spot" beats. A definite party album with its tongue firmly in its cheek ! Every track is an unexpected rib-tickler that will have you giggling and dancing all night (and probably into the morning !)

5.0 out of 5 stars If this doesn't make you smile... 19 Dec 2009

..then frankly there's no pleasing you.
A brilliant, entertaining, bonkers, crammed full of corkers mix, that still gets played 15 years on.
And it contains Georgie Fame's utterly fantastic Peaceful, which they somehow manage to segue into Hardfloor.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'd give this 6 stars if I could 20 April 2007
Format:Audio CD
This is the best mix album EVER. I love Coldcut's JDJ, but this is a different class. It covers drum & bass, funk, soul, hiphop, rock, 60's, 70's and everything up, down, and in between.

My music collection is well over 2500 CD's and my music tastes are very eclectic, and this is the one album/CD that I would have above all others....it's that good. Prepare for a totally awe-inspiring journey through musical genres.

This is easily the best FSUK and I can't believe that it is still relatively unknown when people talk about the best mix CD's ever. Go on, you won't regret it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars still sounds fab 27 Sep 2008

The most eclectic mix CD i have ever heard, constantly entertaining and it never stays one one track for too long. With artists ranging from Jurassic 5, Fatboy Slim through to Herbie Hancock, Afrika Bambaataa and even Betty Boo, about 2 and a half hours of aural pleasure

I loved watching Bentley Rhythm Ace DJ live, they always played music which made you smile, and this album is basically one of their DJ sets, 2 CD's full of fantastic music from a huge mix of genres.
When it was released in the late nineties we played it all the time, at home, at college, in the car, before going out for the night, when we all got back from a night out, etc! And because of the variety we never seemed to get bored of it.
I still listen to it quite regularly now, can't believe it's been 17 years since its release!
