Product Description
The Fringe Electronics PRO TV & Sat Signal Finder is a compact battery powered in-line signal strength meter for aligning directional aerials or Satellite Dishes on buildings or Motorhomes. The PRO TV Signal Meter has been developed and is manufactured in the UK by Fringe. It is very easy to use, simply connect your aerial or satellite dish to the unit and rotate the aerial/dish until you have the strongest signal indicated by the multiple LEDs. The more LEDs illuminated the stronger the signal. The PRO TV Signal Finder can be used for finding the strongest signal for both Digital Freeview and Analogue signals in your Home, Motor Caravan, Motorhome or Campervan.

I Bought this unit as it is dual purpose and has a high sensitivity range. I have only used to set up a TV Aerial in the loft. I used the Compass on my smart phone to set the rough direction for the Aerial. Fit the battery in the unit and either a patch cable or the feed cable, if you use the feed cable, you will be sure of the picture quality when the cable is fitted to the TV. You can fine tune the signal by the audio tone alone higher the pitch better the signal. The LED's will show the signal quality that you can expect in operation. Any more than two Led's showing and it will be ok. In Short it is quick and easy to use and gives you high confidence that TV will work when connected.

Worth paying that bit more for this item compared to a number of the cheaper test items you can purchase, I have tried a number of them and many have been very inaccurate or have stopped working. This Item proved to be much more professional..

I bought the meter to test my arial strength at home, plugged in the telly arial and it gave me an instant reading. Having the smaller incraments is an advantage with low readings as you have more lights to light up
