This product does exactly what it says it does. we have had NO problems with it. the rings heat up well, and fairly quickly too. it is easy to clean. the fan oven helps cook food evenly and ensures the elements do not burn whatever is nearest. fits all my standard roasting trays too, so haven't had to re-kit my kitchen.
we cannot think of a down side to this product. so far there have been none.
worth its money. delivered quickly. well packed. comprehensive instruction guide. very easy to work out how to use it.
its obviously not a full sized cooker, but its the closest thing you'll get in terms of power and cooking standards.

This was purchased as a gift for an elderly gentleman.
Overall, he reports that he is happy with it after finding out about its quirks!
When using the oven, the hotplates also become hot, which was not expected. Now he is aware of it, he won't burn himself or the bottom of an empty pan again! His concern is about the use of power when heating both the oven and the hotplates.
He also reports that the knobs are not easy to operate.
However, overall he feels it is a good little unit that fulfills his current needs.

Whilst this mini-oven does seem rather good value for money in some respects, prospective purchasers should know that there is actually no adjustment to the heat control on either of the two hotplates. They are either off or on. You can't have them set at simmer, for example. I have never come across this on any other cooker, and it is not good for the cooking, or for the consumption of electricity. Another quirk of this product is that both of the hotplates and the oven are operated by the use of a single timer. Whilst you can choose which elements to have on at any one time, the timer is, in effect, the off/on switch for all the elements. Very odd, and it does take a bit of getting used to. There is a real danger of turning on the oven and finding that the hotplates have come on as well if you forgot to turn them to "Off" after the timer turned them off last time they were used. I think the cooker looks quite funky, but if I did not have an alternative hot plate (I have a separate gas hob) I would be pretty miffed by these uncontrollable hotplates provided by Frigidaire.
