Does what it says,

This review is from: FREEMASONRY (Pocket Essentials) (Hardcover)
This book, as stated, is intended to be a pocket guide. That means it will never be a definitive history; nor highly controversial in the content it puts forward.
In terms of meeting its aim of being a relatively easy read and a broad overview of Freemasonry then I think it achieves that. I would recommend this book to non-masons or new masons as it is at just the right level. If you want to read something far more in depth or esoteric; there's a whole wealth of other books out there.

A good pocket reference book for those who already know a fair bit about Freemasonry.Book is written well and the information correct. Information is set out well and is in an easy to understand language that is suitable for the casual reader and expert alike.

An UGLE view of Freemasonry - so young, no depth, unreal history, a totally english slant on an ancient history!
