Description states that connections are gold plated, they aren't. Sadly I pickedthis item specifically for the gold plating. A previous reviewer mentions that theirs WAS gold plated. I must have an item from a cheaper batch!

Amazon Verified Purchase
I had been agonising over which wireless headphones to buy to enable me to watch TV late at night without disturbing the house. IR cans just didn't have good enough reviews, and RF ones that had good reviews were very expensive. I settled for this very very cheap solution with perfect preservation of sound quality -simply plugging in my existing 3.5mm jack headphones. There is no interference at all. I have no need to move around whilst watching TV -I can't see the TV from another room- so a cable is no great hardship. I coil it up and pop it in a drawer when I'm done.
This is such a ridiculously cost effective solution -perfect for my needs. This product seems quite OK in terms of connection -no problems whatsoever.
