It maybe just me but I find these awkward to use will perservere and hopefully will get the hang of them. Great writing style though...not for beginners

Ẁas a bit apprehensive about these following some of the reviews, but I have to say, if you follow the instructions, it works. The letters come out really well and it looks great; I was really pleased with the result.
You have to use flower paste, or knead some CMC powder in to your sugarpaste. If you use just sugarpaste it will not work.
Use cornflour to make sure it's not sticky. I find this is better than icing sugar as it's softer.
Roll it out (I didn't roll it out as thinly as it says but it still worked), cut out a strip, then place the cutter diagonally. You can either do it so that it stays on the mat (i.e. don't press too hard) then peel it off the mat. Or you do it so that it stays in the cutter, then push it out with a paintbrush. It says to gently tap, but this didn't work for me at all.
The letters will stretch a little when you lift them, as it's quite fiddly, but if you use the CMC it won't tear and you can arrange it when you stick it to the surface you want.
I'd recommend, as the end result is great. But you have to be patient!!

This has got to be the funkiest alphabet cutter set around! They seem pretty straightforward to use and I am pretty sure that my cake decoration writing will cause a stir from now on!

I found these very tricky to use and definetly not for beginners! It was very tricky to get the sugar paste out once you had cut it without ruining the overall shape. I am sure their is a knack to this but I couldn't find it.

These funky alphabet tappits create a wow factor on the finished cake. Alot easier to use than the conventional alphabet tappits. Wish I had found them sooner, as I love using them....

Delivery time was excellent. ,my daughter was really looking forward to having the cake cutter letters and numbers?
When we opened the box they are all stuck together ,terrible to use . We ended up cutting them up to see if it was easier? But it was not.
As I say delivery great well packaged but item was terrible.

These are really nice letters and they are just like the pictures. A nice point is that you can position them as you like to create an individuality that is lacking in more fixed style letters. My only issues with them are that they are REALLY difficult to get out of the mould so I broke about 40% (practice, and lots and lots of cornflour, helps so don't use them for the first time on a last minute job) and that theya re in strips rather than individual so that you have cut strips of fondant the same height as the letters to avoid cutting out all the letters below the one you want. Good effect once on the cake though. Overall, tricky at first but rewarding.
