1.0 out of 5 stars Article not book 30 Jun 2012
By Flyer
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
My expectation of a book giving in-depth insight into flying in tubulence in small aircraft was not met. It's more of the length of a decent article in one of the flying mags, and to that extent worth a read, but wouldn't teach a reasonably current pilot anything that they haven't learned for themselves. So, buy it eyes wide open and enjoy a short read

I was hoping that this would give me some insight and helpful advice, over and above what I already knew as a newly-qualified microlight pilot. Sadly, no.

5.0 out of 5 stars Practical flying tips 22 Feb 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Very useful tips here from an experienced instructor. Recommended essential reading for microlight and ultralight pilots. Relevant to pilots of heavier aircraft too.
Although not a good idea to fly under very turbulent conditions in very light aircraft it is possible to be caught unawares, especially if flying long distances.
